Employer Sponsored Visa

Employer Sponsored visas enable Australian employers to address genuine labour shortages when no suitably qualified local workers are available. Employers can sponsor skilled overseas workers through several programs, including the Skills in Demand (subclass 482) visa, the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) (subclass 494) visa, and the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) visa.

Skills in Demand Visa

The Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) requires sponsorship by an approved business, nomination in an occupation listed on the Core Skills Occupation List or an ANZSCO occupation classified under Major Groups 1, 2, 4, 5, or 6, and relevant skills and experience. There is no age limit for this visa

Employer Nomination Scheme Visa

The Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186) is a permanent residency visa for skilled workers nominated by Australian employers to live and work in Australia. Applicants must have at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience and be under 45 years of age at the time of application, unless an age exemption applies to their occupation.

Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional

Subclass 494 of Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa is a visa program that enables regional employers in Australia to sponsor overseas skilled workers. With this visa, you can live, work and study only in designated regional areas of Australia. You can apply for permanent residence after 3 years from the time your visa is granted. The position is to be on the list of eligible occupations to apply for this visa.
