Student Visa.

The student visa (500) lets international students’ study full-time in Australia and requires proof of English ability (depends on passport of their country), financial capacity, OSHC health cover, and enrolment in a registered course.

The Student Guardian visa (590) lets a parent or eligible relative live in Australia to care for a student under 18 and requires sufficient funds and health cover.

Graduate Visa.

The Temporary Graduate visa (485) lets international students stay in Australia after finishing a CRICOS-registered course, giving temporary rights to live, work and study.

It has two main options: the Post-Vocational Education Work stream for diploma/trade graduates, and the Post-Higher Education Work stream for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral graduates. Applicants must have recently completed an eligible Australian qualification and meet English, health, age and other related requirements.
